The transformation of rough granite into a beautiful work of art is a very unique process. Smet Monuments designs every granite product using state of the art technology and equipment to ensure customer satisfaction and to manufacture goods that are precise and exact. The highest-grade granite that presents the most desirable finish is the only material acceptable to our management. Monuments are available in a large variety of colour and sizes. Smet Monuments had designed, manufactured and sold granite for over six decades. Our highly-trained staff is very knowledgeable with regard to both the machinery and the materials used in the manufacturing process. There is a quality control process in place in every step of production - from the selection of the granite block to design, to the final product. Every design is approved and signed off by (you) the client. Prior to etching or sandblasting, the layout and design staff inspect the information for accuracy. Following etching or sandblasting, the product is again inspected prior to shipment. Once all quality control criteria have been met, our professional installation crew deliver the product and ensures final placement is done properly.
